Strong Encryption
Zserver Suite uses the industry standard AES encryption algorithm with a 256-bit key. Other cryptographic algorithms can be linked in as external modules.
Key Generation and Management
Zserver Suite supports advanced encryption key generation methods, e.g., based on quantum RNG or sound card noise. The keys are securely stored in the PIN-secured memory of smart cards or USB tokens.
Encryption Key Quorum
To eliminate dependency on a single person who has the key to all the information, Zserver allows for using an encryption key quorum. For example, the key can be split into five parts, which can be written to five separate smart cards and given to five people; and any three of them will be required to build the original key and make the protected disks accessible.
Data Destroying
Zserver can also be used to securely destroy information. Once the encryption key is destroyed, the encrypted data can be considered physically destroyed.
Centralized Administration
Zserver administration for any number of backup devices or data servers can be done from a single console on any workstation.
Robust Performance
The bad blocks detection technology guarantees sustainable system operation even on disks with damaged sectors.
Trial VersionA 30 day fully functional trial of Zserver Suite is available upon registration.
